Enjoy a highly informative, behind-the-scenes look at how the island of Mallorca recycles and manages its waste. The setting will be the Environmental Technology Park, a cutting-edge facility with the ambitious goal of helping Mallorca reduce its waste to zero in the future. Your immersion into waste management will begin in the boardroom, where you will watch an introductory video that explains the facility’s objectives and advanced processes. You will learn how waste is recovered and transformed into usable materials such as toys, which are displayed in an on-site museum. An electric train will transport you through other areas of the technology park, parts of which have been built with recycled products. Plastic is processed is one area, wastewater slug in another and organic material in yet another part of the facility. You can expect the experience to be educational, eye-opening, and inspirational.

Discover some of the most scenic parts of Mallorca, the lovely village of Soller and enjoy a picturesque ride on the Soller Railway. Board your coach for a scenic drive through the beautiful Majorcan countryside. Enjoy a walk through the narrow streets of Soller. Immerse yourself in the enchanting atmosphere of this quaint mountain village. Board the historic Soller train for your scenic 45 minute journey, which is highlighted by beautiful panoramic views of the Mallorcan Mountains, orange groves and small, fairy-tale like villages. Pass through tunnels, over bridges and stop at a lookout point for a great view on your way back to Palma. You will enjoy a Panoramic drive through Palma before returning to the pier.

Discover the beautiful village of Valldemossa and take in the spectacular views of Palma. Leaving the port, you’ll drive along the Paseo Maritimo, with hotels on one side and luxurious yachts on the other. You’ll pass the cathedral and the Almudaina Palace, along the way to the center of Palma through Avenida Argentina and Avenida Jaime III with its exclusive shops. You’ll also see landscapes of pine forests and groves of almond and olive trees en route to Valldemossa.
Valldemossa is one of the most scenic villages of the island, with a magnificent view over the valley and the capital of Palma on the horizon. Stroll its quaint streets, stop for a soft drink and enjoy free time to take some photos or visit the pearl shop where you can shop for manufactured Majorca pearl jewelry. Back in Palma, you’ll drive up to Bellver Castle for a beautiful view overlooking the Paseo Maritimo and the town.

Then we will head to the MERCADO EL OLIVAR, where you will see a cornucopia of fresh fruits and vegetables from the orchard, artisan Mallorcan cheeses and succulent seafood. As the city's main market, it is always full of people shopping. As you wander around at your leisure, you will get an insight into Palma's gastronomy. Most of the stalls have been in the market for decades, and you are likely to see every kind of local delicacy imaginable, from the most traditional to the most exotic. Many of the vendors have their own boats, guaranteeing the freshest seafood. Local farmers supply the produce, and artisans make most of the sausages and cheeses. The Olive Grove Market is an extraordinary destination to observe daily life as locals engage in lively conversation and friendly bargaining with vendors. After this revealing introduction to the market, you will head to the a local restaurant to sample a selection of dishes representative of Mallorcan cuisine. The menu usually includes Iberian pork, a potato omelette, black bread toast, a variety of cheeses, salmon or entrecote and cheesecake. A selection of wines and liquors will also be served.

Departure from the port to Blanca terra cellar to visit the cellar with an expert and nice tasting wine. Taste some bread and olive oil from Mallorca. Next, departure to the pearls factory and receive and explanation on how to make the pearls in Mallorca. Visit the most beautiful lookout at sea in Mallorca, SA FORADADA, with strange big, pierced Rock. Beautiful scenery for small boats to anchor in Summer. On top, we find a nice restaurant, El Mirador de NA FORADA, close to the Palace that belonged to the ARCHDUKE LUIS SALVADOR. Drive to the Bellver Castle for a some pictures and receive the corresponding explanation from Palma de Mallorca. Next, departure to the restaurant while admiring Valldemosa, where the famous Pianist Chopin lived many years of his life. The guide will explain the History for the influence of ARCHDUKE LUIS SALVADOR in the Island. Once at the restaurant, enjoy a simple but delicious cuisine, a paella, iconic dish of Spanish cuisine, accompanied by good wine. All this while enjoying incredible views of the north coast of Mallorca, where the Serra de Tramuntana Mountain range ends abruptly in incredible cliffs. Take pictures from the lookout and enjoy an aperitif outside before lunch. Lunch will be served inside the restaurant or in a terrace. At the foot of the Cathedral, you will find Ses Voltes, an open-air plaza used for concerts and other events. Recognize the great diversity within Palma through a medley of experiences that include dining on authentic Mallorcan cuisine. The venue for this culinary immersion will be a local restaurant. Entreés typically feature locally caught fresh fish and succulent pork generously seasoned with garlic and olive oil. You can also expect to be served sobrassada, a cross between spicy pork sausage and paté that can be eaten plain, fried or on bread. Coca de trampó, a Mallorcan appetizer topped with fresh vegetables, is also usually on the menu. As a complement, you will sample a selection of Mallorcan wines and liqueurs that may include palo, an aperitif first produced in the 19th century with plants known to combat malaria. Artificial pearls have also long been manufactured on the island, and you will see how at a factory in Palma. Later, you can shop in the on-site store and in Old Town.
