Enjoy an orientation drive of Rome and have free time to take in the sites of your choice or do some shopping. You’ll drive by landmarks such as Trajan's Column, the Arch of Constantine, Circus Maximus, the Colosseum, and the Roman Forum.


After viewing these major sites, you’ll be dropped off at a central location where you’ll have approximately two hours of free time. Your guide will advise you of the pick-up time for your transfer to your Norwegian Cruise Line program hotel or the airport.


Need to Know:

Note: Guests who are planning to visit religious sites during free time, please dress appropriately - no bare shoulders, shorts or skirts above the knee. Large bags or backpacks aren’t permitted in the Vatican nor in St. Peter’s Basilica. This tour is only available for guests with flights after 5:00 pm. This tour is offered only on sailings debarking in Civitavecchia. Debark shore excursions will only be available to book 50 days prior to sailing. To avoid air ticketing conflicts, air must be ticketed before the debarkation shore excursion can be booked. This applies to independent air and air booked through NCL. Due to ongoing construction, the PIETÀ DI MICHELANGELO will be not viewable until September 2024.
