Old Traditions of Martinique

Depart to the north of Martinique to Bele House. You’ll visit the museum and discover the traditional island dance of Bele, with its African and European influences. You’ll have an opportunity to learn and practice this dance with your teacher. After the dance performance, enjoy a Creole snack and a rum punch.

Continue to St. James Rum Distillery to learn all about the history of sugar plantations in Martinique and the process of distillation. You’ll have a chance to taste the delicious rum before heading back to your ship.
