OVERVIEW

Embrace the scenic beauty of Zanzibar's East Coast during this relaxing half-day visit to Kiwengwa Beach. Depart the pier for the scenic 45-minute drive along the East Coast, and on to Kiwengwa Beach; one of Zanzibar's most beautiful beaches. Upon arrival at the Resort you will proceed to the Beach Club. After receiving a welcome drink and bottle of mineral water, you can relax in the sun, explore the beach or participate in any of the resort's amenities, including kayaking, boating, snorkeling, volleyball, and soccer. Sun beds and umbrellas will also be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Following your visit, you will re-board your mini-van for the 45-minute return drive to the pier.

• Appreciate a welcome beverage and a bottle of water to cool yourself off throughout the day.
• Lie beneath the rays of the sun or stroll beside the swaying palms that adorn the beach.
• Rent equipment for a more active endeavor, such as kayaking and snorkeling, if you wish on your own.

Need to Know:

Note: The drive from the pier to the resort is approximately 45 minutes in each direction. Guests are encouraged to wear a swimsuit under a cover-up, water shoes, sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses, and bring a towel from the ship. Optional activities are at the guests' own expense and payable directly to the resort.
