OVERVIEW

With 600 square kilometers of surface, Lagoa Mundaú represents one of the largest ecosystems in the state of Alagoas, as well as important historical, cultural, social, and economic aspects. A 20-minute drive will take you to the "Pontal da Barra", a typical fishermen's neighborhood where the most famous lace makers in Maceió are located. You will then board a regional catamaran to cross the lagoon and its channels in a stunning natural setting made up of islands, home for local fishermen and lace makers. You will sail back to Pontal da Barra, where there will be a stop to explore stalls displaying typical handicrafts at Barra Handicraft Market. Next, return to your vehicle for the drive back to the port.
