Board your private transportation for a journey through Road Town. Drive along Ridge Road with amazing views over the north coast of the island. After a brief photo stop to view the islands of Guana, Great Camanoe and Anegada, you’ll drive westward to the Original Virgin Canopy Tour base camp. After a quick restroom break, the friendly staff will outfit you with your gear. Following a brief orientation and safety talk, you’ll arrive at the take-off point of the tour. The tour including the outfitting and safety talk and the 7 traverse and other challenge components, will take approximately 1 to 1 1/4 hours, depending on group size and other factors. After departing from the pier in an open-air train trolley, you will soon arrive in the heart of the Royal Naval Dockyard. Known as the “Gibraltar of the West,” the dockyard played a vital role in War of 1812 and both World Wars. As you ride the trolley through the streets, the conductor will entertain you with colorful anecdotes and fascinating facts about the history and architecture of the dockyard. Along the way, you will pass the Royal Navy Cemetery, which dates back to 1812. Other points of interest include Lagoon Park, whose mangroves support a thriving population of birds, and Somerset Village, a residential area on Somerset Island that was settled centuries ago.

The tour ends back at the pier. However, as an alternative, the conductor will drop you at Clock Tower Mall to browse the shops and then you may return to the pier later on your own.

A scenic drive will take you from Le Havre via the Normandy Bridge to the city of Honfleur. This colorful port on the Seine estuary has remained a major center for the arts for centuries. The history of Honfleur, which has been sung by many poets and painted by famous artists, has always been tightly bound-up with the sea. Today, Honfleur offers visitors a unique heritage which can be best seen by strolling along the picturesque narrow streets lined by timber-framed houses. Leaving your coach, your guide will escort you to the slightly hilly town center overlooking the harbor. The guided walking tour of the town includes St. Catherine’s Church and its bell tower, the Salt Warehouses, the Lieutenancy, residence of the former Governor of the town and the old port. Discover the lesser-known, sometimes sordid history of St. George on a walking tour, the perfect prelude to a relaxing respite on one of the island’s most picturesque beaches.

After tendering to St. George, you will begin a leisurely walking tour of town, which was founded in 1612 and became the island’s first capital. As you meander the cobblestone streets and quaint lanes, you will soon understand why UNESCO designated St. George a World Heritage site for being an authentic example of an English colonial town in the New World. The ambiance and 17th- and 18th-century architecture exudes history.

Along the way, you may pass the Tucker House Museum and St. Peter’s Church, the oldest continually used church in the western hemisphere. You will notice that many of the alleys, such as Needle & Thread and Barber’s, are named for former trades that flourished here. Shinbone Alley refers to the colonial soldiers that overindulged in its pubs and crawled out on their hands and knees, banging their shinbones.

A different side of Bermuda awaits you at Tobacco Bay Beach, where you will linger over lunch before heading for the shore. Now a national park, the beach was named for the wild tobacco that grew here when survivors of a shipwreck came ashore in 1609.

Feel free to swim in the shallow waters or snorkel along the dramatic limestone formations. Colorful parrotfish, sergeant majors and grouper are commonly spotted in the clear seas.

Visit the Kunaram Temple, a small, unique monastery that embodies a true sense of simplicity and tranquility and make. During your visit, you’ll have an opportunity to view the body of Samui's most famous mummified monk, Loung Poh Deang, in a seated meditation position. Stop at the Big Buddha Temple, or Wat Pha Yai, which features a 36-foot golden statue perched atop a wide staircase decorated with dragons. The statue is visible from several miles away, and creates an impressive silhouette against the sea and sky behind it. Considered one of the most colorful temples, you’ll visit Wat Plai Laem for its notable statue of Kwan Yin (or Guanjin), an 18-armed Buddhist avatar of Mercy that sits in the middle of a lake. From the pier, a scenic drive takes you to Rose Hall Great House, an outstanding relic of colonial times with a fascinating and detailed history of dark rumor and intrigue. The story of Annee Palmer, the mistress of Rose Hall Great House, is not easily forgotten! It is said that Annee Palmer had three husbands during her reign as mistress of the Rose Hall Plantation and each of them died a sudden and violent death. She gained a reputation for extreme cruelty and her nickname “White Witch of Rose Hall”. Annie was feared by the slaves who lived on and worked the plantation. She ruled with an iron fist, and defiance or even perceived insolence was answered with public whippings, torture in the dungeon, or even death.

According to local legend, Annee’s restless spirit still roams the grounds, following her untimely death at the hands of a cunning slave. Accounts of her enduring presence have been featured on the TV programs “Ghost Hunters International” and World’s Scariest Places”. Departing the Great House, pause for a while at the Shoppes at Rose Hall where you’ll have an opportunity to purchase that special souvenir to remind you of your visit to Jamaica. Crafts, exquisite gems, jewelry, watches, coffee, spices, sauces, clothing and alluring perfumes are all part of the available duty-free shopping. The tour continues to Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville by the sea, in the heart of Montego Bay’s hip strip for a cool tropical drink before arriving back at the ship.

Travel to the port where Napier was known to have begun, historic Ahuriri. In 1931, the towns of Hastings and Napier were severely rocked by an earthquake; it was this same earthquake that led to a unique rebuilding at the same time the Art Deco concept was flourishing in the U.S. and Europe. As a result, Napier is endowed with a splendid heritage of Art Deco buildings.

Stop for photos at the National Tobacco Company Building, and from there it's on to Marewa, Napier's Art Deco suburb where you'll have an opportunity to view many of the unique private homes and gardens that comprise this charming neighborhood. Travel back along Marine Parade with its stately Norfolk Pine trees to the Art Deco Shop. Following an informative 20-minute film presentation, your local guide will lead you on a leisurely half-mile stroll through Napier's Art Deco Quarter where you’ll see up close its eclectic mix of 1920s and 1930s buildings in the Spanish Mission, Stripped Classical and, above all, Art Deco styles. Interior visits to the old AMP Building and the ASB Bank are also included in this guided walk.

From the pier a short walk brings you to the waterfront departure point of your lobster boat. Following a short safety briefing depart to Casco Bay to pull live traps. Discover two highlights of Curacao, the Hato Caves and the historic city center of Willemstad, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After a short drive, you’ll arrive at the impressive Hato Caves. It is home to beautiful limestone formations, the famous Madonna statue and a colony of seldom seen long nose fruit bats. The variety of stalagmites and stalactites are impressive. It is fun to join the guide in recognizing animals or figures in the various stone formations. Relax on the drive back to the city, for your walking tour.

First you’ll visit the Curacao marketplace where the locals shop for food and ingredients for their home cooked meals. On the way to Fort Amsterdam, home to the Governor of Netherland Antilles, you’ll pass the beautifully colored, picture perfect merchant houses on the quay of the harbor entrance. The last part of you walk will be to cross the floating bridge that connects both sides of the city. If the bridge is open, due to ship traffic, ferries will be used instead. Your journey from the second city on the north coast takes you through Jamaica’s lush countryside to the home of Jamaica’s Famous Rum, Appleton Estate. Enjoy a narrated sightseeing drive as your guide unfolds Jamaica's history in a lively and interactive discussion. Upon arrival to Appleton Estate, you’ll be welcomed with a rum punch or soda. Enjoy a snack in the lounge before being taken on a guided tour of the estate that begins with a demonstration of the extraction of cane juice as it was in the 18th century. You’ll view the distillery that showcases the different methods of distillation of Pot Stills and Column Stills.

A visit to the Ageing House and V/X House reveals large quantities of rum barrels including ‘Hogs Head’ and ‘Viper’. Tasmania is famous for the Tasmanian Devil as well as its impressive gardens. Visit the award winning Emu Valley Rhododendron Garden and Wing’s Farm Park, a massive reserve with an impressive array of native Australian animals.

Your relaxing drive takes you through the picturesque countryside of Tasmania, passing fields and lush green vistas en route to Wing’s Farm Park. At the spectacular Emu Valley Rhododendron Garden, you’ll will find a wealth of other natural attractions, but mostly of the botanical sort. After settling into your seat, the spectacle will begin with gusto. You will instantly recognize rhythms from other parts of the world that have influenced Puerto Rican music and dance. Many of the steps and sounds originated in Cuba, Brazil, the Dominican Republic and other Latin American countries.

You may notice African beats and a passion typically associated with Spain’s flamenco. The dancers will perform the mambo, which was invented in Havana in the 1930s, and the samba, a dance style from West Africa.

You will also enjoy parts of the show dedicated to La Plena, a genre of music and dance indigenous to Puerto Rico. Tambourines are the principal instruments in La Plena, although other instruments such as congas, trombones and guitars are often played.

The Highlights and Rodeo Drive Tour will begin at the Port of Los Angeles, where you'll disembark your ship, and join us for an exciting fact filled excursion through the highlights of the city. Dunedin is known for being home to some of the country's most adored Victorian structures, its streets are adorned with a collection of historic buildings, cathedrals and churches. A scenic drive past the charming towns of the shores of Otago Harbor brings you to Olveston. You’ll visit the Olveston Historic Home, the original home of a wealthy family that was built between 1904 and 1906. It offers a glimpse into the refined way of life in days past. Departing from Olveston, you’ll pass several historical landmarks including the Gothic revival-styled Otago University, the Law Courts, Otago Boys High School, First Church, and the Edwardian mansions of Royal Terrace and High Streets.

Visit the Dunedin Botanic Garden where the gardens cover some 69 acres and were the first public botanical gardens established in New Zealand. Free time will be provided for you to admire the well-manicured lawns, splashing fountains and statuary and an extensive collection of camellias, annuals and colorful roses.
