Make the journey up to Mount Dalsnibba for a spectacular view of the Geiranger Fjord, one of the longest and deepest fjords in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You’ll be transferred ashore by tender to the pier in Geiranger, where coaches and guides are waiting your arrival. This picturesque village is one of Norway’s most popular tourist resorts with locals and visitors alike.

The coach climbs up the winding mountain road offering an ever changing kaleidoscope of mountain farms, waterfalls, lakes and streams. From Lake Djupvatn, you’ll continue up the hairpin road to Mount Dalsnibba. From the summit, nearly 5,000 feet/1,500 meters above sea level, you’ll have a spectacular view of Geiranger Fjord far below and the magnificent mountain peaks all around.

You’ll drive down the same road to Djupvasshytta lodge where coffee and a Danish pastry will be served. There will be time for shopping in the souvenir shop or for a short walk along the lake. On your return, you’ll stop at the Flydal viewpoint to take pictures of your cruise ship at anchor.
