And visit the Norwegian Fjord Center to learn about life on the fjord. You’ll be transferred ashore by tender to the pier in Geiranger, where coaches and guides are waiting your arrival. This picturesque village is one of Norway’s most popular tourist resorts with locals and visitors alike.

The coach climbs up the winding mountain road offering an ever changing kaleidoscope of mountain farms, waterfalls, lakes and streams. From Lake Djupvatn, you’ll continue up the hairpin road to Mount Dalsnibba. From the summit, nearly 5,000 feet/1,500 meters above sea level, you’ll have a spectacular view of the Geiranger Fjord far below and the magnificent mountain peaks all around.

At Flydal Viewpoint you’ll make a stop to take a photograph of your ship far below on the fjord. You’ll then visit the Geiranger Fjord Center with interesting exhibits about life on the fjord, the rich history and the stunning natural scenery of the area.
