Established in 1323, Warnemunde has been a fisherman’s village since medieval days. Join your local tour guide for a walking tour of this quaint, little village and visit the regional Heritage Musuem. Meet your guide at the pier for your stroll along the bustling promenades and piers, where mariners either sell their catch or stop during their Baltic journeys. Continue past busy shops and restaurants which adorn the beautiful one-story gabled houses.

A visit to the regional Heritage Museum will present you with interesting exhibits and information about the history and the daily life and work of the fisherman and seafarers. Explore the white-sand beaches where you’ll discover the history of the beach basket. Continue your walk to the lighthouse, for an excellent panoramic view.
