Here you’ll learn all about the local cheese making industry and taste a variety of cheeses from the local manufacturers.

Head southeast for an hour through some of the beautiful towns dotted throughout Tasmania’s north. Stop at a local chocolate factory that specializes in hand-crafted Belgian-style chocolates made with the freshest Tasmanian cream and butter. Learn about the art of chocolate making and indulge in some samples. Enjoy a delicious morning treat and browse the museum or gift shop.

Visit a local boutique winery where you’ll be briefed on all aspects of the vineyard and enjoy a sampling of wine. The wines are made in small quantities from grapes grown on local vines. Some of the vines in this area were among the first to be planted in this coastal region of Tasmania.
