OVERVIEW

Upon arrival, soak in the striking 1.5-mile-wide glacier which flows down from the expansive Juneau Icefield. After your glacier adventure, indulge in a satisfying feast at the Gold Creek Salmon Bake, nestled in the tranquil rainforest. Here, you'll savor wild Alaskan salmon along with a variety of mouthwatering side dishes. Enjoy your meal at your own pace, with convenient shuttles available to transport you back to your ship when you’re ready.

Need to Know:

Note: The salmon served is always wild Alaskan Salmon. Umbrellas for walk to waterfall and gold pans are available for use on site. This tour involves walking over uneven and natural terrain. The tour is not available to guests who utilize a wheelchair. Visitor center at Mendenhall Glacier will have reduced hours this summer. The hours of operation will be Sunday-Friday from 10 AM until 5 PM. Please note that even outside these hours, our tours can still access the glacier, trails, and restrooms. The visitor center will close Saturday’s. To assist our guests during times when the Visitor Center is closed, we will have staff on-site to help with directions and logistics.
