Discover two highlights of Curacao, the Hato Caves and the historic city center of Willemstad, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After a short drive, you’ll arrive at the impressive Hato Caves. It is home to beautiful limestone formations, the famous Madonna statue and a colony of seldom seen long nose fruit bats. The variety of stalagmites and stalactites are impressive. It is fun to join the guide in recognizing animals or figures in the various stone formations. Relax on the drive back to the city, for your walking tour.

First you’ll visit the Curacao marketplace where the locals shop for food and ingredients for their home cooked meals. On the way to Fort Amsterdam, home to the Governor of Netherland Antilles, you’ll pass the beautifully colored, picture perfect merchant houses on the quay of the harbor entrance. The last part of you walk will be to cross the floating bridge that connects both sides of the city. If the bridge is open, due to ship traffic, ferries will be used instead. Your guide will escort you back to the ship, right through historic Rif Fort. This area offers upscale shopping, dining and entertainment centers and you’re able to spend time here at your leisure.

Bask in the sun on a palm-fringed beach in the warm white sand with turquoise waters waiting to be explored! Enjoy a scenic transfer on your air-conditioned transportation through the historic capital of Bridgetown. You'll pass Barbados' Parliament Buildings, the 3rd oldest Parliamentary institution in the Western Hemisphere, Heroes Square, with its historic statue of Lord Nelson, and Independence Square as you make your way to Carlisle Bay, one of best beaches and the only natural harbor in Barbados.

Upon your arrival, you'll be served a complimentary drink and given a brief orientation to the beach and facilities. A beach chair and shared umbrella are provided for your comfort, as well as changing rooms and showers. Play a game of beach volleyball or bring your own snorkel equipment and snorkel the shipwrecks in the sheltered bay. Additional drinks or light snacks are available for purchase. This beach has a spot for everyone - just pack a your towel and sunscreen and you are ready to go!

Tucked away in Bermuda’s East End lies an unspoiled hidden paradise of pristine beaches. The Clearwater Beach Triangle will take you away from the beaten bath and crowded beaches to a series of 6 interconnecting utopic beaches, while still offering all of the great facilities and amenities to make a perfect beach day. A representative will greet you on the pier outside of your ship and direct you to Norwegian’s direct tender to St. George’s. Once you arrive in St. George’s, you will be greeted by a charismatic and knowledgeable local guide and escorted onto comfortable mini buses. From there, you will be treated to a guided sightseeing tour on the way to Clearwater Beach in St. David's. When you arrive at Clearwater beach, this will be your base and you will be given an orientation on the facilities of Clearwater, as well as the locations of the 5 other walkable beaches in the area. You will be shown to your special beach section and provided with a sun lounger and shared umbrella. When you are ready, head to the beach restaurant for a local lunch. At your leisure, swim, have lunch or explore the many beaches, and take advantage of the modern facilities available to you. At the end of your beach time, you will be transported back to St. George's before taking the tender right back to your ship.

Your memorable trolley takes you past the Queen Emma pontoon bridge and the former floating market, where locals now sell fish, vegetables and other local products. Next see Scharloo, a former residential neighborhood lined with picturesque colonial homes built in the 1800s. A highlight of your Scharloo overview is a stop at the recently renovated Bolo di Bruid, known as the "wedding cake house", the city's most photographed building.

Leaving Scharloo, enter Pietermaai Cathedral, the largest and most impressive on the island. You will also view Queen Wilhelmina Park, which serves as the setting for frequent cultural events and Waterfront Arches, an imposing fortress that was the site of the fort is one of many structures that lend a sense of history and atmosphere to the city, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Concluding your trolley experience, you may return to the pier by taxi or remain in town and enjoy the short walk back to your ship at a later time.

Spend hours relaxing on the gorgeous stretch of sand that rims Emerald Bay, also known as Lindbergh Bay for the famed American aviator Charles Lindbergh, who landed on St. Thomas in 1928. How fitting that the beach lies in the shadow of the island’s main airport. You will be welcome to while away the hours as you please with no schedule to follow other than your own. Feel free to lie back in a lounge chair in the shade of a beach umbrella or bask in the sun if you prefer. The sheltered waters are typically calm, crystal-clear and ideal for a refreshing swim. You might stroll along the shore, enjoy a drink and lunch at a beach bar and watch the occasional plane land on the nearby runaway. Regardless of how you spend your time, the setting will be idyllic, encouraging you to enjoy every moment without a care in the world.

You will be met at your ship and taken to the Antigua rainforest. A welcome drink will be offered. After being briefed by fully trained and experienced guides your exhilarating tour begins. The Antigua Canopy Tour is a unique and award winning eco-tour through Antigua’s lush rainforest, where you embark on an unforgettable journey through the verdant forest, high above the trees. Your tour starts at the architectural pleasing Old Pump House with a walk over a suspension bridge from the side of the building, which spans the gorge to the far bank. Once across the bridge, there is a 12 zip lines journey through the forest begins as you trail to the start aerial zips, crisscrossing the gorge. There are zip lines of 52 feet to 328 feet in length. The geography of the gorge dictates that you are above the treetops for large parts of the run – exiting and entering a corridor in the foliage at either end. There are a series of 12 zip lines, 4 aerial walkways and 2 suspension bridges giving you a wonderful opportunity to have a bird’s eye view of the flora and fauna in the rainforest. You will have some short trails into the gorge and then a series of connecting zip lines and bridges, which crisscross the gorge at tree canopy level. The gorge is full of interesting plants and fruits and has a definite “tropical” feel to it especially when you take a break in our tree house, hidden from the rest of the world! Within the gorge there is a series of large trees and certain features; prominent boulders and a rock pool. The gorge offers a shaded area with interesting plants with a range of wild fruits, vines, mosses and lichens. Mineral water is available at several water stations through the tour. Once back you will be offered a certificate of achievement and time to relax on our verandah with a cool drink or take some time to look at photographs or choose a souvenir from our well stocked gift shop.

Enjoy a scenic drive through some of Tasmania's beautiful towns and indulge your senses with the flavors of locally made cheeses, chocolates and wine. Your indulgent experience begins in Burnie where you’ll visit a local cheese factory. Here you’ll learn all about the local cheese making industry and taste a variety of cheeses from the local manufacturers.

Head southeast for an hour through some of the beautiful towns dotted throughout Tasmania’s north. Stop at a local chocolate factory that specializes in hand-crafted Belgian-style chocolates made with the freshest Tasmanian cream and butter. Learn about the art of chocolate making and indulge in some samples. Enjoy a delicious morning treat and browse the museum or gift shop.

Visit a local boutique winery where you’ll be briefed on all aspects of the vineyard and enjoy a sampling of wine. The wines are made in small quantities from grapes grown on local vines. Some of the vines in this area were among the first to be planted in this coastal region of Tasmania.

Enjoy a visit to an elephant camp, a cashew nut factory, and the Chalong Buddhist Temple, along with island scenes.

At the cashew nut factory, curiously named Sri Bhurapa Orchid Company, you’ll see how mouth-watering cashew nut products are made as skilled workers create a variety of snacks and sweets.

A visit to the Chalong Temple brings you to what is considered the most beautiful and ornate temple on the island, Wat Chalong. Here you’ll find a statue of Luang Por Cham, the monk who became a hero when he helped the people of Phuket put down the Chinese Coolie Rebellion in 1876.

Elephants are an important part of Thai history and culture, regularly featured in Buddhist art and architecture. Arriving at the elephant camp, you will have a chance to observe how the elephants bathe and feed; this will be a great photo opportunity.

You’ll also stop at a local products shop where you’ll have a chance to get that last minute souvenir.

Thailand's only island province, Phuket, is a world-famous tourist destination renowned for its magnificent mountains covered with lush tropical vegetation, its surrounding azure blue sea and stretches of powder-white sandy beaches fringed with coral reefs. Once renowned for its tin mines and rubber plantations, visitors now arrive looking for a place to relax and explore the incredible scenery. Your island drive takes you to the Buddhist temple, Wat Chalong, considered the most beautiful and ornate temple on the island. Visit a cashew nut factory, curiously named the Sri Bhurapa Orchid Company. There you’ll see how delectable cashew nut products are made as skilled workers create a mouthwatering variety of snacks and sweets. Stop for a great view at Promthep Cape. Located at the extreme south end of the island, Promthep Cape appears to be a simple rocky hill with no immediate interest. However, once you climb the steps to the top, experience a stunning view of the perfect half-moon bay of Nai Harn Beach and the scattered islands dotting the Andaman Sea. Drive to Phuket Town for a short sightseeing tour around the old part of town with its old Sino –Portuguese Buildings. You'll see some splendid examples of European-Sino-Thai architecture. Visit the Chinese Shrine facing the sea at Sapan Hin, which is a large recreational area, largely built on reclaimed land in the south of Phuket Town, right by the sea. There are often festivals and fairs held here, and its always popular with locals to take a walk, go jogging and sit by the sea. Final stop at local rubber plantation before returning back to pier.

Begin with a scenic drive to Wat Chalong, the largest and the most strikingly ornamented of Phuket's 29 Buddhist temples. Its intriguing history features a monk believed to have formidable healing powers. To this day, Thais from all over the country flock to Wat Chalong to pay homage to the monk and regain their physical and spiritual powers. Stop at Promthep Cape. Experience a stunning view of the perfect half-moon bay of Nai Harn Beach and the scattered islands dotting the Andaman Sea once you’ve climbed the steps through the rocky hill.

Visit the Phuket Thai Village located on an old tin mine site with a tranquil lakeside setting. During an elaborate performance, you will be charmed by Thai Classical Dances, with performers dressed in opulent costumes and intricate head pieces made of sparkling gold and colored stones. The drumming of the thaporn or Thai drum, and the sweet melodies of the Phee, a Thai flute, will carry you further into the past. Enjoy a thrill to the complex style of Thai boxing. You will also stop at a souvenir shop before return to the ship.

Discover a skyline of towers and spires in Rouen, the capital of Higher Normandy, and its importance stemming from Roman times. The alignment of its two main streets – Rue du Gros Horloge and Rue des Carmes – still reflects the layout of the early city. With its heritage of fine buildings and many museums, the city offers its visitors a wealth of artistic delights.

Follow your guide through the historical part of the city. See the Old Market Place where Joan of Arc was burned at the stake in 1431 and the modern Joan of Arc Church completed in 1979. Other sites you’ll find during your walking tour are the Gros Horloge Street with its belfry and a sculpted archway on which rests a Renaissance lodge decorated with clock faces that still indicate the time of the day, the phases of the moon and the days of the week. Discover the Law Courts, the seat of Normandy’s Parliament and the cathedral, made famous by Claude Monet’s paintings of its façade.

Take a coastal drive with views of rocky mountains, gulfs and sea cliffs on the way to the town of Rethymnon. Southeast from the town and lying on a rocky plateau with views of the sea below, is the Arkadi Monastery which became famous due to the holocaust suffered in 1866. Built during the last Venetian period, it consists of a large set of fortress-like buildings where people could find refuge in times of trouble. After a visit to this historic place and learning about one the most tragic chapters in Cretan history, you arrive at the friendly old town of Rethymnon which still maintains its old aristocratic appearance. During your walk, admire arched doorways, stone staircases, Byzantine and Hellenic-Roman remains and the small Venetian harbor. You’ll have some free time to wander around on your own before continuing to a local restaurant to enjoy a Cretan lunch.

After departing from the pier in an open-air train trolley, you will soon arrive in the heart of the Royal Naval Dockyard. Known as the “Gibraltar of the West,” the dockyard played a vital role in War of 1812 and both World Wars. As you ride the trolley through the streets, the conductor will entertain you with colorful anecdotes and fascinating facts about the history and architecture of the dockyard. Along the way, you will pass the Royal Navy Cemetery, which dates back to 1812. Other points of interest include Lagoon Park, whose mangroves support a thriving population of birds, and Somerset Village, a residential area on Somerset Island that was settled centuries ago.

The tour ends back at the pier. However, as an alternative, the conductor will drop you at Clock Tower Mall to browse the shops and then you may return to the pier later on your own.

Step off the ship and on to one of Dunedin town’s classic Heritage buses enroute to the Iconic Dunedin Railway Station. Once you arrive, you will board one of the world’s most scenic railways as you journey through the spectacular Taieri River Gorge. Welcomed aboard by a friendly crew, settle into your carriage, and get ready for a breathtaking trip into a landscape only accessible by this train. First tracing Otago Harbor, then traversing suburban Dunedin and a fertile plain, you’ll soon be climbing into the sheer cliff faces and plunging ravines of the Taieri River Gorge. Much of the ride takes place high atop soaring stone-and-lattice viaducts that early engineers, masons, and railway gangs somehow managed to build through extremely challenging wild New Zealand terrain. The fact that they succeeded is a true marvel – which you get to experience firsthand today. After your tour through the caves, you’re off to an Ostrich farm where you’ll board a Safari truck and your local guide will give you detailed information about this spectacular farm.

The birds are impressive and it’s really interesting to interact with them. You don’t have to be a hero and hand feed them, but it’s a great experience! You’ll also see the different phases and development of an egg to one of the biggest birds on earth. If you’re really lucky one of the birds may be born during your visit. In the souvenir shop you can buy some authentic African art and souvenirs.

Board the Seaworld Explorer semi-submarine and sit in air-conditioned comfort five feet below the surface of the water. View sea life through large windows and see tropical fish such as Yellowtail Snapper, Sergeant Majors, Parrotfish and Queen Angelfish, as well as delicate colonies of coral. Watch through your private window as a diver is surrounded by hungry fish that he feeds by hand.

Once back on land, you'll cross the Queen Juliana Bridge for a view of Willemstad from 200 feet above the town- a magnificent vista of the capital and the famous Queen Emma Pontoon Bridge, which provides a pedestrian link between the Otrobanda and Punda districts. Experience the beautiful countryside of Puerto Vallarta on this horseback ride tour. After a short journey, you’ll arrive at Hacienda Dona Engracia, where your guide will conduct a brief safety orientation and match you with a horse that suits your ability. As you ride along the Mascota River, pass through quaint little villages, viewing local scenery and vegetation and an assortment of different trees.

Wear a swimsuit under your riding clothes because if conditions permit, you may enjoy a swim on horseback, then you’ll head back to the hacienda to explore before you rejoin the transportation back to your ship.

Upon arrival to the Hacienda, enjoy a guided tour of the Tequila Factory process and free tequila samples.

While dining on a Mexican buffet you’ll be surrounded by an ambience of Mexican folklore. After dinner, board the motorcoach for the return to your ship.

Combine the beautiful Tasmanian countryside and Australian native animals at the Wing’s Farm Park with an orientation drive through the city.

Take a scenic drive through the northern region of Tasmania, incorporating some of this island state’s most picturesque countryside. Gunns Plains is a prosperous farming district located approximately 45 minutes south of Burnie and where you’ll find Wing’s Farm Park. Here, you can explore at your own pace and see Tasmanian Devils, Quoll’s, and other native wildlife including reptiles and kangaroos. Alternatively, take the opportunity to visit the animal nursery. Before returning to the ship, take a brief drive through Burnie and learn about this Tasmanian gateway to the north.

Watch your children interact with bottlenose dolphins in a sheltered cove while a trainer stands by to ensure a memorable experience for everyone. It will just take a few minutes to reach Dolphinaris Cozumel, an aquatic park dedicated to the conservation and protection of marine mammals. After a kid-friendly introduction to dolphin behavior and characteristics, your kids will ease onto a shallow submerged platform in the water that the dolphins inhabit. These marine mammals are exceptionally friendly, curious and highly intelligent. Chances are, the dolphins will soon approach as they enjoy human contact. Travelling through Jamaica's beautiful countryside, you'll drive past some historic sites and districts on the way to Dunn's River Falls. Described as a living and growing phenomenon, the waterfall continuously regenerates itself from deposits of travertine rock, the result of precipitation of calcium carbonate from the river, as it flows over the falls. The small dome-shaped cataracts are usually associated with thermal spring activity found in limestone caves. Experience the thrill of climbing the waterfall, in a human chain led by experienced Falls Guides. Pause at the 'massage parlour' and experience the soothing effects of the water as it cascades over the rocks, to the sea.

For the less adventurous, view the activities of the more intrepid from the "safe" vantage point of the terrace or deck. For those who enjoy Mother Nature’s gifts, lose yourself in the lush tropical foliage of ferns, bamboos, ginger lilies, crotons, orchids, a variety of palms and breadfruit trees. After visiting the falls, you will be treated to a delicious Jamaican buffet lunch, served in the beautiful garden setting of the Ruins Restaurant before the return drive to Montego Bay. Life jackets are available and mandatory for children under the height of 1.45 m /57 inch. Since you won’t be able to use your hands while swimming, the use of fins is required. The dolphin lagoon is about 18 feet deep.

Dunedin is known for being home to some of the country's most adored Victorian structures, its streets are adorned with a collection of historic buildings, cathedrals and churches. A scenic drive past the charming towns of the shores of Otago Harbor brings you to Olveston. You’ll visit the Olveston Historic Home, the original home of a wealthy family that was built between 1904 and 1906. It offers a glimpse into the refined way of life in days past. Departing from Olveston, you’ll pass several historical landmarks including the Gothic revival-styled Otago University, the Law Courts, Otago Boys High School, First Church, and the Edwardian mansions of Royal Terrace and High Streets.

Visit the Dunedin Botanic Garden where the gardens cover some 69 acres and were the first public botanical gardens established in New Zealand. Free time will be provided for you to admire the well-manicured lawns, splashing fountains and statuary and an extensive collection of camellias, annuals and colorful roses. The Winter Garden Glasshouse has a great range of temperate species on display and there is also a substantial rock garden.

You’ll travel to the Adelaide River, one of eight rivers in the Top End which have large flood plains. These flood plains create a great expanse of coastal wetlands that are home to a variety of unique animals and plant life. The Northern Territory is also well known as crocodile country. You’ll stop at the Window on the Wetlands Visitors Centre where you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about life in this tropical region.

At the Adelaide River, you’ll board a boat for your cruise which brings you almost face-to-face with the crocodiles. Keep watch for the tell-tale ripples of an approaching reptile, camera ready in anticipation of capturing that crocodile as it leaps out of the water. For your refreshment, a soft drink will be offered while you are aboard the vessel.

Visit the magnificent first 20th-Century urban center in Europe to be added to the UNESCO world Heritage list, downtown Le Havre. The genius behind the design was architect Auguste Perret, a “poet in concrete” who was both traditional and innovative in his approach.

A short drive takes you to the city center, where your walking tour begins. Along the way, you’ll discover countless architectural gems such as the Town Hall, Saint Roch gardens, Avenue Foch, and Saint Joseph church,. At the end of your tour, you can stay in the city center to shop or explore further, and later return to the ship on your own.

The story of Annee Palmer, the mistress of Rose Hall Great House, is not easily forgotten! It is said that Annee Palmer had three husbands during her reign as mistress of the Rose Hall Plantation and each of them died a sudden and violent death. She gained a reputation for extreme cruelty and her nickname “White Witch of Rose Hall”. Annie was feared by the slaves who lived on and worked the plantation. She ruled with an iron fist, and defiance or even perceived insolence was answered with public whippings, torture in the dungeon, or even death.

According to local legend, Annee’s restless spirit still roams the grounds, following her untimely death at the hands of a cunning slave. Accounts of her enduring presence have been featured on the TV programs “Ghost Hunters International” and World’s Scariest Places”. Departing the Great House, pause for a while at the Shoppes at Rose Hall where you’ll have an opportunity to purchase that special souvenir to remind you of your visit to Jamaica. The tour continues to Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville by the sea, in the heart of Montego Bay’s hip strip for a cool tropical drink before arriving back at the ship.

Explore Komodo National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and a world-renowned great wildlife island. It's the desolate domain of a fierce and very rare species of reptile that bears the looks of a prehistoric dinosaur, the Komodo dragon. Drive to the Grand Palace and Emerald Buddha Temple, one of the most beautiful examples of an ancient Siamese court. The Grand Palace, former residence of the Kings of Thailand, is now reserved for royal ceremonies and state occasions. During your visit to the Palace compound, you’ll admire the magnificent Royal Chapel and view Wat Phra Kaew, the Emerald Buddha, Thailand's most sacred Buddha image.

A scenic drive will take you from Le Havre via the Normandy Bridge to the city of Honfleur. This colorful port on the Seine estuary has remained a major center for the arts for centuries. The history of Honfleur, which has been sung by many poets and painted by famous artists, has always been tightly bound-up with the sea. Today, Honfleur offers visitors a unique heritage which can be best seen by strolling along the picturesque narrow streets lined by timber-framed houses. Leaving your coach, your guide will escort you to the slightly hilly town center overlooking the harbor. The guided walking tour of the town includes St. Catherine’s Church and its bell tower, the Salt Warehouses, the Lieutenancy, residence of the former Governor of the town and the old port.
