OVERVIEW

Enjoy a picturesque helicopter flight to majestic Norris Glacier for a dog-sledding adventure through the wilderness. The thrills begin the moment the helicopter takes off, affording you spectacular views of the lush rainforest and glacier-carved peaks below. It will be a captivating experience, one only matched by the quintessential dogsledding escapade that awaits you. The professional mushers will instruct you on how best to drive the team of dogs, which is typically made up of powerful Alaskan sled dogs. What a rush to stand at the back of the dog sled, driving the team along the trail as if you were competing in the Alaskan Iditarod. Back at the dog-sledding camp, you will have time to discuss the iconic 1,000-mile Iditarod race with the mushers and take photos of yourself with the dogs.

Note: Participants must be at least 2 years of age. This tour involves approximately 30 minutes in the helicopter, one hour at the dogsled camp. Times and routes may vary due to weather conditions. A window seat is not guaranteed. Bags, purses, fanny packs and similar items aren’t allowed on the helicopter, but a secure location is available for your personal belongings.
